Chile Crunch is my first product, inspired by my childhood in Mexico. It is unique in that it has a crunchy texture in addition to its wonderful heat and flavor. Although steeped in the traditions of Mexican flavors, Chile Crunch is delicious with many cuisines. It is made by me, in very small batches with loving care, using mostly local California ingredients for good health and good eating.

Salsa lover Susie Hojel hails from Mexico City. Shortly after moving to the United States, she began to miss the rich, intricate flavors of her homeland, where most meals are accompanied with at least one kind of salsa. To calm her culinary homesickness, she began making small-batch salsas with rich, authentic flavors and all-natural ingredients. Ultimately, she developed a fiery yet flavorful chunky salsa made with fresh garlic and chiles de arbol. When she debuted the salsa at the 2010 Fancy Foods Show, her new creation was an instant hit.
